General Director of BHE wins Dennis Gabor award


Dr. Károly Kazi, the General Director of BHE, has been won the Dennis Gabor Award, recognizing his innovation activitis in the Hungarian RF & Microwave industry. The award was handed to him by Dr. József Pálinkás, -  the President of National Research, Development and Innovation Office, ordinary member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, PhD in physics - during an official ceremony in the Hungarian Parliament, on the 17th of December, 2015.

BHE sponsors the 13th Microcoll


It is a tradition that the Microcoll international conference is regularly organised in Budapest in the field of microwave and optical communications. In 2015 BHE sponsored the 13th Microcoll which was organised in the form of a Workshop which is co-located with the 17th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON’2015). The Microcoll conference was held on the 2nd day of the event on 7th of July. For more information please visit the following website:

Hungarian team at Future Flight Design 2015 in Istanbul


The Hungarian team successfully participated at Future Flight Design 2015 in Istanbul organized by Turkish Air Force Academy in May which 49 teams from 10 countries applied for. 

The India-Hungary Joint Defence Committee at the BHE


The India-Hungary Joint Defence Committee (JDC) paid an official visit at the BHE on the 11th May, during the Seventh JDC Meeting, held in Budapest. The Indian delegation was headed by H.E. G. Mohan Kumar Secretary of Defence Production of the Ministry of Defence of India, as the new co-chairman of JDC, and were accompanied by Shri Sanjay Garg, Joint Secretary (DIP), Department of Defence Production and Shri Gopal Bhushan, Director (International Cooperation), Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO). The Hungarian chairpersons were led by Colonel Attila Simon, Deputy Head of Department, MoD of Hungary. The Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of India and the defence attachés of both countries were also present.

Hungarian Success at LAAD Defence & Security Exhibition


Hungarian companies (Avis Ignis Ltd., Carinex Ltd., MLR Tech Ltd., GAMMA Technical Cooperation, Defence Industry Association of Hungary and BHE Bonn Hungary Ltd.) successfully participated on the Hungarian national booth at LAAD Defence & Security exhibition which is the most important global event for defence industry and held in South America in every second year.

BHE hosted the 18th National High School Design Competition


BHE hosted the 18th National High School Design Competition also this year which 19 teams from 15 schools participated in. In the jury László Bakk represented our company.

On 26th of March BHE took part at the Indo-Hungarian Commercial seminar organised by Embassy of India, Budapest in collaboration with Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Association of Indian Businessmen in Hungary where the developments in Indian economy and complementarities in Indo-Hungarian trade and economic relations were discussed.
